Leviticus 25:42-44

42 Because they are my servants whom I brought out from the land of Egypt, they shall not be sold as a slave.[a] 43 You[b] shall not rule over him with ruthlessness, but[c] you shall revere your God.

44 “‘As for[d] your[e] slave and your[f] slave woman who are[g] yours,[h] from the nations that are all around you,[i] from them you[j] may buy a slave or[k] a slave woman.
